Michael is a master woodworker. He has evolved into a meticulous constructor who utilizes varied species in a unique way. His joinery is interesting and advanced. His designs are well-thought out and appeals to the modernist as well as the traditionalist. Michael's custom work always fulfills the customers' needs, design requests and finishing. Michael's creativity is well reflected in the unusual mix of materials, surprising angles and combination of colors, reflectivity of surfaces and finely crafted utilitarian art pieces.
Michelle is an artist whose first work was produced at 4 years old. Since childhood, Michelle has been guided by numerous private instructors in various mediums including studies at private art college. Michelle has many years of photography expertise including lab work. For many years, black and white photography with lab work was her chosen medium specializing in candid portraiture of children. A former student of Robert Stern, Michelle's photography was guided by an artist's eye. Michelle studied photography at Stockton State which augmented her lab knowledge. Michelle works in varied mediums including pen-and-ink, oils, watercolors, wire sculpture, cloth creations, plaster and concrete, and metal.
